The Klamath River flows into the Pacific Ocean in Redwoods National & State Parks. Although it’s best known for some of the tallest trees in the world there is much to experience here along the northern coast of California. A wide range of trails take you up the coastal foothills or right down to the sea. A hike that doesn’t disappoint is the trek through Fern Canyon. The narrow canyon is filled with ferns and mosses, if you listen closely you’ll swear that you here the sounds of a nearby dinosaur. In fact, the area was indeed used as a location in Steven Spielberg‘s Jurassic Park 2. Wander back in time and get out and #FindYourPark.
