Glacier Point at Yosemite National Park offers spectacular views and a couple of the must do hikes in Yosemite Valley. The 8.5-mile Panorama Trail begins at Glacier Point and wanders down to Nevada Fall then on down past Vernal Fall and the invigorating Mist Trail to the Valley floor at Happy Isles. At almost every turn you’ll encounter iconic vistas which are life-affirming – you may also encounter a bear sighting (we did on our trek) so keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. You can take a bus up to Glacier Point from Yosemite Lodge which makes the hike nearly entirely downhill. If you’re up for a more strenuous adventure and have the time you can always start on the Valley floor near Bridalveil Fall and hike up the Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point. BTW- that is also a great alternative to hike down if you’ve taken the bus up! Which ever route you choose you are assured to enjoy the journey. Get out and #FindYourPark.
