Matt Emerson WBNL Yosemite National Park Ribbon FallThe elusive Ribbon Fall in Yosemite Valley is  North America’s longest single drop waterfall at over 1,610 feet. It is supplied completely by snow melt so it typically makes a short yearly appearance.
If we are lucky to have the El Nino year that many are forecasting, Ribbon Fall could be quite a sight come next spring and early Summer.

Located to the west of El Capitan, it’s easy to spot when it’s flowing and adds another great water feature amongst Yosemite’s great waterfalls.
