The Tuolumne River wanders gracefully through Tuolumne Meadows where you’ll find some of the most picturesque points in Yosemite National Park. Take Tioga Road (State Route 120) from Crane Flat just outside of Yosemite Valley. The road is seasonal and is most often closed November through May. Great hikes in the area as well as the famed High Sierra Camps which take you into the alpine backcountry -reservations required. If you’re taking a drive through the area don’t stop at the Park’s boundary, head out the eastern end down to the Whoa Nellie Deli located inside the Mobil Gas Station for a treat to your taste buds. People come from hundreds of miles to experience this hidden culinary gem. Get out and #FindYourPark.
