Boston is one of the best cities to wander. There is an incredible amount of history, architecture, art, and culture in a relatively small area, so much so, that it can be easy to miss things if you don’t get a general idea of where things are physically located. There is an easy remedy to that challenge, however, just look to the sky and head for the second tallest building in the city – The Prudential Tower. Just a mere 40 feet shorter than the John Hancock Tower, the Prudential Tower stands proudly at 750 feet and offers up amazing views of the city and beyond. It is the absolute perfect venue to set your internal GPS before you wander this amazing place.
The Skywalk Observatory has 360-degree views, audio tours, and many exhibits to explore. Technically, you will be taking a dry run of what awaits you down below, and since you most likely won’t have the time to discover it all in one visit, you’ll be able to see it all from the air and then it’s decision time on where to head off to when the elevator doors open at ground level.
The Prudential Tower is located at 800 Boylston Street, in the heart of the shopping and entertainment district of the city and right on the “T”. Tickets and elevators are accessed in the enclosed Prudential Arcade that sits at the foot of the tower.
The Skywalk Observatory is open 7 days a week.

Top of the Hub
Now that you’ve seen the views and have your itinerary in place, it’s time to celebrate! Thankfully, you don’t have to go far. A treat awaits you on the 52nd floor. The Top of the Hub is New England’s finest spot for a cocktail in the clouds and the food is as delicious as the view. Reservations are required for dining and the lounge can get quite busy, especially as the sun starts to set but don’t shy away from snagging a seat and taking in the city around you. Although the space is modern, it beckons back to an earlier time. For more info or the book your reservation visit Top of the Hub
